CORDIAL RELATIONS,

Asked -whether he would make a statement as to the relations existing between the British Government and the present Government of Egypt, and whether the latter is one with which relations may be developed in' the direction of the settlement of-out-standing questions, Captain ,R r A, Edep-, Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, in the House of Gommops stated that he was happy to say that the relations with the Egyptian : Government were entirely friendly. ■ The British Government had made -no-.-re-servations regarding the present Egyptian Administration,- as.;one with which the present Anglo-Egyptian relations have been and may continue to be developed at the time and in the manner which appear most suitable.
