HUTT NOT LEAVING. HANLON TO RETURN. (Special to “Northern Advocate.”) AUCKLAND, This Day. Owing to a last-minute hitch in con nection with the transport of his wife and child, Lou Hull, the Ponsonby and New Zealand Rugby League international, did not sail for England yesterday by the steamer Remnera to join his old club, St. Helens. Mrs Hull found it inconvenient to leave with iter hu.Sband, but the club cabled that the familv was to embark in toto.
As a result of a special fund raised by a committee of the combined senior Auckland clubs, arrangements were completed yesterday for the return to New Zealand of the ex-Richmond player, Trevor Hanlon, and his family. The passages have boon booked and n cable sent to the player advising him to sail by the lonic, which will leave Southampton on November 4 and will reach Auckland shortly before Christmas.
