COMMITTEE MEETING. ' V . IMPROVEMENTS AT PARK. At the meeting of the Whangarei Rugby Union Management Committee last night, it was decided to present a cup to the Maori junior reps, the winners of the match against the Pakeha junior reps. This will be competed for annually. , Mr ;T. Conaghan gave notice that lie would move at the annual meeting that two sets of jerseys be procured, one particularly for the Maori • junior reps. It was decided that the Union will not hold itself responsible for assembly expenses. During the off season considerable improvements are to be done at Rugby Park. The second ground is to be drained and levelled. Messrs Grant and Church were appointed supervisors of this work. The cottage which has served as a dressing shed is to be removed and improved, and conveniences arc to be provided in the main stand. The tender of Mr A. Walker (£7O) was accepted for this work. City were granted permission to play Ponsonby seniors on Saturday. 5
