The RyniillWhitton game was the feature of the match and.proved thrilling, the South Australian triumphing at the 19th hole. A 20ft putt by AYhitton jumped out. Sawyers overcame Williams, 4 and 2: Choadle defeated Morpeth, 1 up. New South AVales boat South Australia, and 2. Bottingtou boat Rymill, 1 up. In the professional class, A’ictoria de feated New South AVales, 4 and 2, one being all square. A’ictoria defeated South Australia, 4 and 2, one being all aqua re. Toogood did the last nine holes in 33. A’ictoria won the A'icars Shield NORTHERN WAIROA CLUB. 'The final of the men's senior championship of the Northern Wairoa Golf Club was played at the week-end, when B. Hargrave defeated F. 0. Gould at the Pith hole. Hargrave was three up after the morning round, but Gould fought back all the way and the game was all square at the 36th hole. The next ttvo holes were halved and Har-
