I? A DIO VAN CAPSIZES. ALL OCCUPANTS INJURED. (Special to “Northern Advocate.”) OPOTIKI, Monday. A motor car accident occurred on the Kukumoa Road near Opotiki, yesterday' when a, car driven by Air Lysaght, in passing a radio can driven by Mr H. D. Black, broadsided in gravel and forced the van off the road into a tidal drain, where it capsized. Besides the driver there were four adults and a child in the van. Afr Black was thrown through the windscreen and received cuts and injuries to the head. The other passengers, with the exception of the child, rvero slightly injured. \ The tide was low and there was only 2ft of Avater in the drain. The van, which Avas badly smashed, av.ts lifted back to the road Avith the aid of a crane.
