"Won by throe lengths, half a length between second and third horses. Time —2.49.
Telegraph Handicap, of 00 sovs; six furlongs. —(1) Royal Bengal, 9.0, .1; (2) Illuminate, 7.1, 2; (0) La- Crown, 7,7, 3. Also started: Tavora. Won by a neck, four lengths between second and third horses. Time —1.3 SJ.
Egnront Steeplechase, of 150 sovs; about two miles and a half. —(2) Make Up, 10.7, 1; (4) Copey, 9.4, 2; (9) Callamart, 9.13, 3. Pangolin and Birkbeck were scratched. Won by a length; six lengths between second and third. Time —5.30.
Plying Handicap, of 100 sovs; six furlongs. —(3) Orapai, 7.13, 1; (1) Silvennlne, 5.7, 2; (2) Hampden, 7.0, 3. The Tiger was scratched.
