A display which is attracting a great deal of attention in Hallensteins’ window, Cameron Street, is pictures of speed kings and endurance ftliers. Photographs of most of the more famous men.'and w'onien are included, and are so clear and large that ah almost lifelike resemblance is afforded.
Among the portraits in tire gallery are: Sir Malcolm Campbell, the late .Sir (Henry Segrave, Kaye Don, Don Harkness and Norman Smith - (bracketed side by side), “Blue Bird” car,! “Pred H. Stewart Enterprise,”! “Uncle Sam’s Hustler,” “Golden Arrow,” “Silver Bullet,” “Sunbeam,’ 7 and the speedboat “Miss England II.” Heroes of the air whose photographs are shown are; Miss Amy Johnson, Capt. W. A. Lancaster, Mrs Keith Miller, Mr Tames Mollison, Mr Bert Hinkler, Pilot C. W. A. Scott, Flying Officers H. L. Piper and C. E. Kay, Colonel the Marchess De Pinedo, Flight-Lieut. G. W. Hill, Sir Alan Cobham, Sir Ross Smith, Mons Pegoud, Capt. D. Costes, Harry Hawker, Claude Graham White, R. H. Parker and C. J. Mclntosh.
