RIDICULOUS RUMOURS

REFUTED BY CHAIRMAN.

(Special to “Northern Advocate.”) ROTORUA, Tins Day

Rumours without foundation were circulated in Rotorua on Saturday concerning the intentions of relief workers. This morning the chairman of the Rotorua Unemployed Workers’ Association published the following statement: “May I refute the ridieulftus rumours that appear to be rife in Rotorua. In regard to foolish statements circulated by unthinking people, T would say that our association has always taken up,the attitude that more is to be gained by constitutional methods than by direct action. This contention was proved in the course of our recent demonstration procession.’’
