MOTOR STRIKES TROLLEY
SMALL BOY KILLED
TWO OTHERS INJURED, (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Three boys were injured when a motor ear struck a small four-wheeled trolley in Jervoie Quay on Saturday evening, and one of them died. The names of the victims are:— Dead. Alexander McDonald, aged eight years, of 39, Walter Street.
Injured. Ronald Humphreys, aged six years, of 31, Walter Street, head injuries-and bruises. ;• Donald Humphreys, aged seven years, of 31 Walter Street, head-.and leg injuries. • . • The driver of the ear was Mr John - Goldsworthy, of Hataitai.. . • ; When the accident occurred the boys were on their way home with a load - of wood and had stopped to repair a wheel of'the trolley. The fourth boy . jumped clear just before the impact.
