Commercials were firm, and after a sale at 1(3/7 holders asked 10/8. The insurance section was steady, with few price changes. Australian general securities met a good market, with buyers at £1 0/9 for British Tobaccos £37 5/ for Colonial Sugars, Electro Zincs prefs, at 19/6 and Mt. Lyclls at £1 0/3, In Government stocks a parcel of inscribed tax-frees was available at £97 and one of 54’s (1937) also inscribed at £IOO. Noon Call. , There was only one sale at the noon call, namely, South British Ins., £2 14/.
