MARSDEN REFORM LEAGUE
EXECUTIVE MEETING. CONFIDENCE IN MR COATES. A representative mooting of the Marsden Executive of the Reform League was hold yesterday afternoon in Whangarei, delegates being present from as far south as Warkworth and Silverdale. The discussion centred round the ac- / lion to be taken in connection with the support to be extended to the Coalition movement.
After an exhaustive investigation, it was resolved to hold a further meetling to enable a complete delegation from branches to be present, and to this end the following resolution was adopted: “This meeting expresses confidence in the Rt. Hon. .f. G. Coates, Leader of the Reform Party, and decides, in the interests of the Marsden organisation, that a further meeting of the Executive be held at Maungaturoto on Friday next, November El, at 2 p.m.”
