NORTHERN STOCK SALES; WALTER WAKELIN’S REPORT. Walter Wakelin reports as follows: I held my usual monthly sales at Parua Bay and Kamo during the week. At both sales good yardings came forward and prices generally were unchanged. A heavy yarding , of pigs at' Kamo again sold well under very keen competition. Quotations: — Parua Bay, Monday.—Pat cows made up to £4 2/; store cows, £1 to £1 10/; empty 2-year Shorthorn heif-, ers, £1 10/ to £2 5/; yearling Jersey heifers, £1 15/ to £3 5/; 3-year Short-' horn steers, £3; 3-year coloured steers, £2 8/; good quality 18-month S.H. steers, £1 15/ to £2; good Jerseycross dairy heifers, £3 10/ to £5 2/6; yearling Jersey bulls, £1 10/ to £5 5/, Kamo, Wednesday.—Pat * bullocks, £5 10/ to £8 16/; heavy fat cows and' heifers, £4 id/ to £5 10/; light cows and heifers, £2 7/6 to £3 7/6; store cows, £1 10/ to £2 3/; boner cows, 10/ to £1 2/; 3-year S.H. steers, £4 2/; 2-year S.H. steers, £2 3/; yearling S.H. steers, £1 2/6 to £1 10/; 18month coloured steers, 15/ to 17/6; yearling coloured steers, 5/ to 12/6; good yearling Jersey heifers, £2 to £3 7/; yearling Jersey-cross heifers; £1 5/ to £1 16/; good quality m.s. yearlings, 8/ to 18/; empty 2-year S.H. heifers, £1 5/ to £1 15/; yearling S.H. heifers, 5/ to 15/.
