The total number of unemployed registered for 'the week ended November 2 was 50,284, compared wdth 50,200 for the week earlier, an increase of IS, according to a return issued by the Rt. Hon, J. G. Coates, Minister in Charge of Unemployment, yesterday. The number employed part-time under tie Unemployment Board’s relivt’ scheme was 30,758, an increase of 331 over the previous w'eek. The net number unplaced was 13,520, a decrease of 310 for 'the week. The number of registrations in Auckland for the week was 0992, a decrease of 44. Relief work was given to 5890, against 5090 for the previous w'eek.
