INTER-IMPERIAL TRADE

CO-ORDINATE MOVEMENT LONG-PERIOD SCHEME. PERMANENCY IN VIEW. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received 9 a.m.) LONDON, November 5.

The Sydney “Sun” correspondent says he has ascertained that developments which will enable the beginning of the Empire unity movement to be made on a bigger scale than anything so far contemplated in the history of the Empire, may be expected soon after the new Cabinet meets.

The scheme involves a ten-years, perhaps a 20-years plan, initiated by Britain, and can be regarded as a long-range, inter-imperial trad© policy, intended to rehabilitate and bind the Empire for such a period, culminating in permanency.

The process will incur all-round sacrifices, and will be based on Britain purchasing raw material and foodstuffs exclusively from the Dominions in exchange for their concentrating on the purchase of manufactured articles from Britain.
