MARRIED WOMEN TEACHERS
PROTEST OVER DISMISSALS

The executive of the New Zealand Educational Institute, at its meeting last, evening, renewed its protest against the proposed dismissals of married women teachers. It declared its adherence to the principle- that the only proper consideration in appointing is the welfare of the pupils, vho have a right to the services of the best teacher available.
