PALMED. CAUSES SURPRISE. (Received 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, November 2. The manager of the Sydney Stadium, Mr Griffiths, says he was surprised to learn today that the boxer, Palmer, had sailed on Friday for New Zealand. Mr Griffiths was arranging a match for Palmer against Ilannaberry for December 14, and he says ho cannot understand Palmer’s departure without notice.
