AMERICAN SAMOA

GOVERNOR VISITS MR HART. (Received 9 a.m.) APIA, November 1, The Governor of American Samoa, Mr Gatewood Lincoln, and Mrs Lincoln and a .party of 17 arrived at Apia by the American naval vessel Ontaria on Friday evening. The Governor is paying a return visit of three days to the New Zealand Administrator, Mr H. E. Hart, who in August last officially visited Pago Pago. Mr and Mrs Lincoln are the guests of the Administrator at Vailima, where 'a dance in their honour was held last evening. The party also attended the Apia Turf Club’s meeting yesterday.
