The following are today’s quota- 1 tions on the Sydney produce market: —Wheat, ex trucks, at Sydney, 2/11; at country stations, 2/3; flour, £10; bran and pollard, £4; potatoes, Tasmanian, £9 to £11; Victorian, £7 10/; onions, Victorian, to £6; oats, white and Algerian, 2/0; maize, 3/2. • WOOL SALES. SYDNEY MARKET BRISK. . MERINO REALISES T7 ; ]D. (Received 9 a.in.) SYDNEY, October 1.1. At the wool sales today,greasy merino made up to 17:[d, which is the highest price for the season. There was splendid competition, particularly from Japan. The market ruled at the best point of the series and excellent clearances were made. Of the 12,058 bales offered, 11,103 were sold. Private disposals totalled 1800 bales. BUTTER AND CHEESE. LONDON ADVICES. Messrs A. S, Paterson and Co., Auckland, have received the following cable from their London principals, .Messrs .1. and .1.
