TRAFFIC MANAGER RESIGNS

SUCCESSOR APPOINTED.

The Union .Steamship Company announced yesterday that Mr N. S. Falla, general, traffic maimger, has resigned the service to take up another important appointment and will ho succeeded by Mr J. W. Matthewson, branch manager at Newcastle, who has held the position of acting general trafficmanager since Mr Falla proceeded to England on extended leave in March last.

Mr Falla will take up the position of agent in New Zealand for the Federal Steam Navigation Company in succession to Mr Walter Wallis, who is retiring after holding the position for 28 years and having reached the retiring ago.
