POLICE PATROL CARS
ENGLISH SYSTEM PRAISED. (Received 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, August 17. After spending some months in England studying police methods, Detec-tive-Sergeant P. Doyle, of New Zealand, reached Sydney today. Mr Doyle said he had found that New Zealand had nothing much to learn from England in ordinary police work, but he was impressed by the elaborate system of patrol cars in most of the English cities.
