HIGH SCHOOL DEFEAT AUCKLAND.
The scholars of the WhangarePHigh School have every reason to be jubilant concerning the triumph achieved by their basketball representatives in a game against the Auckland rep. team this morning. The visitors have not previously played together, and although undoubtedly fine individualists, they lacked the combination of their younger opponents. High School won by. 24. {mints to 14. Thig is a particularly good result, considering that basketball is a comparatively new sport' at I the High School.
