NEWSPAPER STRIKE
EIGHT-PAGE ISSUES,
FREE LABOUR PLENTIFUL.

With the help of heads of departments, typists and other free labour, the newspaper ‘‘West Australian'' was produced in an eight-page issue today. The afternoon newspaper, the “Daily News,” is managing to produce a small paper in similar fashion. The strikers are picketing both offices. The “West Australian” has received 300 applications from skilled operators and others offering their services.
