STOCK EXCHANGE
PASTORALS IMPROVE, (Special to “Northern Advocate.”) AUCKLAND, This Day. The easing process in regard to Bank of Now Zealand shares was checked yesterday afternoon, and this morning a sale was recorded at £2 8/3, an advance of 5/ on the last transaction. Bidding generally was rather dull at the first call. Australian Bank shares ;bowed little alteration. The pastoral section was a little better with offers for Dalgetys, Goldsbro-Morls and River Plates, though buyers' limits were rather down. Interest in Waihis was fairly keen. For the parent company's shares an offer of 14/9 failed to bring business. Grand Junctions sold at 3/2, with more available at that figure. Noon Call At the noon call the following sales were reported: Bank of New Zealand, £2 8/3; King Solomon Minos, 2/10; Waihi Grand Junction, 3/2.
