ECONOMIC PENSIONS CUT
APPLICABLE TO EX-SOLDIERS. (Per Press Atioclatlou —OopyrlgM.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Branches of the Returned Soldiers ’ Association throughout the Dominion have been advised that all economic pensions jjayable to ex-soldiers are being reduced by 10 per cent, as from June 1. The reduction does not apply to pensions granted for physical disablement or dependents of ex-soldiers, nor\to old-age and other pensions. • -,ip' The reduction in economic pensions will be discussed at the forthcoming annual conference of the New Zealand. Returned Soldiers’ Association.
