RUGBY RULES
DISPENSATIONS WITHDRAWN.
(Per Press Association.—-Copyright.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.
Discussions took place at the annual meeting of the Canterbury Rugby Union last evening on the instruction of the English Rugby Union that all dispensations granted to New Zealand be withdrawn. It was resolved that the New Zealand Union should protest against the instruction and make representations to the English Union to have the dispensations restored. It was also decided to request the New Zealand Union to seek the co-operation of the New South Wales Union in the matter.
