RUSSIAN SPIES
RUMANIA MESHES "45. . (Received IX a.m.) BUCHAREST, April 7. A court martial opened today; on 65 alleged Soviet spies, who were arrested in October. This was the largest round-up since the war. It is alleged that they offered Rumanian military secrets for £7O per document to foreign military attaches during army manoeuvres. Many of the arrested men are foreigners and members of pre-war espionage organisations.
