ALTERATIONS PROBABLE, (For Pres* Association. —Oopyilgkt.T PALMERSTON N., This Day. Following reports by the board’s architect and structural engineers of the Public Works Department, the Wanganui Education Board deemed it advisable to suggest that the Central School at Palmerston North, a large brick building, should be evacuated. The Minister of Education, after consultation with the Public Works Department, adopted the suggestion and the school was evacuated yesterday pending a decision regarding structural alterations. Other aeconL laudation is being found for the 600 pupils.
