THE REGENT. * “DTXIANA.” « Another large audience at the Regent last evening thoroughly enjoyed the music, stage pictures and humour provided by “Dixiana,” which created such a good impression when shown for the first time on the jn'evious evening. “Dixiana” indeed provides excellent entertainment. All the principals, from Bebe Daniels to the supernumerios, are of a high order, and the' whole production is on an elaborate scale of. magnificence, especially in the final scenes. “Dixiana” should not be missed. The supports are excellent. One, “Keep Your Eye On the Ball,” is most amusing. A film which attracted keen attention was that depicting' the ruins of Napier. Xn the course j of 2000 feet of film the salient features 1 of the wrecked city were shown, the audience being given a realistic idea ' of, what the earthquake did in a few moments. TOWN HALD TONIGHT. j i “THE CAT CREEP?!.” i * ' I Who killed Lawyer Crosby? Who, out of a half dozen people gathered in a deserted house at midnight, murdered the one man who seemed to have discovered the source of the mysterious power which menaced them all?
