NIGHT BOWLING
PAIRS TOURNEY,
: ORR THE WINNER, The Whangarei Bowling Club conducted a pairs tourney under electric light on its green last evening. All rinks were engaged and the green was in good order, the absence of dew adding to the enjoyment of piny. Three rounds each of 40 minutes' duration were played, and at the end of time three skips had each registered the full number of wins. W. Orr, 8. Simons and G. Wilding were loft in the running. Simons met Orr in the semi-final, Wilding drawing the bye. In an interesting game of three heads, Orr won by a margin of one point. In the final, Orr continued his winning way to beat Wilding (i—3, The following gives details of play;
