A seiious motor collision oecnrml on the Portobello Pond, ns t.ho result of which J-lilr-eu Cooper, and a you hr man, Morris West were badly injured. The motor eve If. they wen* riding apparently skidded in some . loose shingle and struck a car, the impact knocking the cycle and passengers off the road to the rocks below. Both were admitted to hospital, The girl with a badly mutilated face and the youth suffering from concussion. At a late hour last night they were on the dangerously ill list.
