Later for five years lie exploited imaginary concessions in Yucatan, ruining several victims, his frauds exceeding £IOO,OOO The Judge in sentencing Corrigan said that accused had been guilty ot bad and cruel frauds. Corrigan showed no mercy. One wealthy man lost everything and was obliged to become a clerk in an insurance nffice, while Corrigan lived in luxury at the best hotels in England and Prance.
