The police at Columbus, Ohio, arc unable to ascribe the motive for the murder by a woman newspaper seller of seven of her nine children, whom she shot while they slept, after which she shot herself and is how dying in hospital. The woman was separated from her husband and sold newspapers for many years with the aid of some of her children. The victims were apparently murdered one after another without being awakened.
