YARDING AT FRANKTON. .PAT SHEEP EASIER. (Special to “Northern Advocate;’ 1 ) HAMILTON, Tliis Day. The Farmers’ Co-op, Auctioneering Company report that at the Franktou stock sale there was a medium yarding of beef and store cattle, and a, good yarding of fat and store sheep. Fat bullocks and prime quality cows sold at late rates. Fat sheep were slightly easier and store sheep, of which there was a large entry of breeding ewes, were all disposed of under the hammer, or privately afterwards. There was a good yarding of all classes of pigs, late quotations being fully maintained throughout. Quotations: — Medium fat steers, £l3 2/ to £l3 9/; light, £lO, to £ll 7/6; prime fat cows, £9 10/ to £10; medium, £8 to £9; forward conditioned, £5 10/ to £6; twotoofh withers, 24/9; fat lambs, 16/ to 19/2; ewe lambs, 11/6; store lambs, 8/3; store ewes, 9/; four and six-tooth ewes, 22/6 to 23/; best two-tooth ewes, 23/6; small two-tooth ewes, 17/ to 18/; heavy baconers, £3 5/ to £3 10/; medium, £2 17/ to £3; light, £2 10/ to £2 14/; heavy porkers, £2 5/ to £2 10/; light, 38/ to £2 2/; slips, 23/ to 28/; weaners, 10/ to 15/.
