WRONGFUL ACCUSATTON. MILLION FRANCS CLAIM. (Received 9 a.m.) PARIS, May 0. M, Almazian has entered an action for 1,000,000 francs damages againsi W, Amy, Chief of the Judicial ludeutity Laboratory, who . declared that stains on Almazian’s clothes were human blood, whereas this was subsequently disproved. In September, 1929, an Armenian tailor, Almazian, was arrested in connection with the murder of his friend, Francois BigaiuHn, an accountant, whose body was found in a wicker trunk at Lille railway station. Rigaudin was known to be Hie lover of Mine. Almazian, a. pretty Parisicnnc. Rigau- • din’s mother had also been found murdered iu April, 1929, and the son, who was a leading Anarchist, devoted his life to running down his mother’s murderer. His own fate was never explained, and Almazian was detained 'for six months, being subjected to third degree methods, although ample evidence of his Innocence was forthcoming for his release. French newspapers, when ho was finally released last month, demanded a complete investigation of the facts of the prisoner’s treatment.
