BERNARD SHAW SATIRICAL,

EX-KAISER’S BOMBAST. (Received ~9 a.m.) LONDON, May 6, “Glimpsing of the Great”, is the title of a book published today by Sylvester Yiereck, who interviewed the world’s great men to see how they look at flife. Mr G. B. Shaw said: “I’d prohibit poverty by putting to death everyone earning loss than £6OO a year or asking for more.” The author asked Mr Shaw -whether he would like to be rejuvenated, and the latter replied“lf anything I want to be senilised, but ask mo in 30 or 40 years,” The ex-Kaiser said: “I tried to rule my Empire for the greater glory of God and for the greater glory of God, I try to make Doom more beautiful. God wanted me to rule for 30 years as Emperor then discarded me and allowed me to be dethroned. Perhaps it was to try whether my faith was shaken. It is not. His will be done.”
