LONDON SALES, (Received 30.48 a.m.) LONDON, January 31. At Thursday’s wool sales 61611 bales were sold, of which 1086 -were Now Zealand. At today’s sales 6880 bales wen? offered, of which 066 were New Zealand. There, was a good selection of greasy merino, principally super-style, spinners’ sorts. The market continues firm at late rates. New Zealand greasy crossbred, “Pustai,” made lid and 12d, SYDNEY DISPOSALS. HEAVY SACRIFICE, (Received 3 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The total -wool sold this week in Sydney amounts to nearly 24,000 bales. Prices declined 10 to 15 per cent.
