Mosley, coroner, on Thursday, at the inquest on John ■lames Michael Barrett, aged 41, a labourer, who was found dead in bed at his house, 104, Queen Street. Sydenham, on January 12.

‘‘lt is an impasse as far as the cause of death is concerned,” remarked the coroner. ‘‘lt is the first time in my experience of hundreds of. inquests that I have had to give a verdict like this. The police said the man had been dead some time when found. It was impossible to see if there were any marks of violence.”
