COMMITS FIVE MURDERS.
SUICIDAL FINALE,

Prcsumaably insane, owing to domestic worries, Joannes Har-ountunin, aged 43 years, an. Armenian laboured, ran amok, and killed five persons, seriously wounded two others and then committed suicide, all within 10 minutes.
He walked out of Ms lodging at Marseilles and met another Armen •_ ian, whom he shot fatally, without saying a word. He then rushed back to his lodging and wounded his wife. Next he entered a neighbour’s house and murdered an 85-year-old woman and her two daughters, dangerously wounding a third.
The husband of one of the dead women rushed into the house, only to meet a bullet through the heart.
Harountunin then walked on to the terrace and -blew -out his brains.
