A. Ellesdon, by false representation.”

The police stated that goods "worth about £65,000 were obtained from various firms. About £15,000 had been recovered and about £3OOO was left in the bank. 1

The goods were sold afi half price or less, and some were missing. The case was adjourned till February 10, bail being allowed. The police said that at least 100 witnesses would be called.
