FRAUD INDICTMENT

SIX ALLEGED CONSPIRATORS. ■ ■ ■ v ... • (Received 8.44 a.m.) In connection with the alleged conspiracy case, Morris Abraham Kutner (37), Joseph Roger (65), Albert Monroe Cameron (27), Harry Roden (39), auctioneer, Albert Arthur Ellisdpn (60), merchant, andr Harry Levy (67), broker, were charged with “conspiring to defraud such as should be induced to give credit to Cheapleys, Limited, or to A. A. Ellesdon, by false representation.”
The police stated that goods "worth about £65,000 were obtained from various firms. About £15,000 had been recovered and about £3OOO was left in the bank. 1
The goods were sold afi half price or less, and some were missing. The case was adjourned till February 10, bail being allowed. The police said that at least 100 witnesses would be called.
