PARENTS ENTERTAINED.
| A delightful evening was given by •Mis ATervvn Wilson nnd pupils uu ‘ ' / Friday, Dr com her 1.°., at Airs* Wilson's residence, 41 Central Avenue, when flu pit pi!.; entertained their parents. The music studio, which was beautiful!;. decorated with sweet peas, was paekol to the utmost. ; The programme was lengthy and ivaried and consisted of pianoforte I solos and duets, steel guitar so toy 'duets, trios, and quartettes, mandolin solos and duets, banjo solos and a combined orchestra of piano, violins, mandolins. ukulele, steel guitars and banjos. The parents -expressed them- j selves delighted with the progress made during the year. At the conclusion of the programme,a delicious supper of fruit salad, jellies, cakes, sandwiches, and sweets was served. The remainder of the evening was spent with games and competitions and concluded at midnight with the singing of the National' Anthem. Three hearty cheers were j given for Mrs Wilson and Miss .To j Wilson and the company say,g “,For| They are Jolly 'flood Fellows.” • Aj dainty basket of sweets was presented to each person as (iiev departed. !
