An invitation to become the General Secretary of the Christian Endeavour Union of Great Britain, has been received by the Rev, Lionel B, Fletcher, Minister of the Beresford Street Congregational Church, Auckland. and President of the New Zealand Christian Endeavour Union, The British Union, comprising 250,000 members, includes the Affiliated National Union of Scotland, Wales and Ireland, and is regarded as the largest youth work society in the United Kingdom. If he accepts, the Rev. Fletcher will be installed at a World Jubilee at Albert Hall, London, in May 1931. He had already arranged to go to England next year for an extended tour of service.
