“RED FLAG” AT FUNERAL

OLERGYMAN FLOUTED,

Mrs Una Speeclilcy, a prominent member of the Minefields Communist group, was killed in a bus accident on Saturday.
She was hiving buried at Cessnock yesterday when an extraordinary scene occurred. The burial was eouducteii by an Anglican clergyman, at the request of deceased’s parents. At the conclusion Communists raised a red flag over the grave and the leader called ■on the others to sing the revolnlionarv song “Red Flag.”
A woman relative screamed: “Don’t let them do it,” and collapsed at the graveside.
The clergyman ordered the Communists to desist, but they proceeded, encircling the grave and singing the “Red Flag.”
