POLAR REGIONS
NORWAY'S POLICY
(Received 8.22 a.m.) OSLO, November 13,
In a policy speech, the Prime Minister, M. .1. L. Mowinekel, referred to the Polar exploration. He said Norway always maintained that territory which had not been occupied, de jure? and do facto, by another nation, should be regarded as “No Mian’s Land." She applied that principle to the Arctic and Antarctic, including Franz Joseph Land, where she considers her citizens are entitled to carry on hunting and fishing unhampered by any foreign nation.
