DIARY DISCOVERY,
WOMAN MYSTIFIED,

In connection with the suitcase mystery, detectives questioned Airs. Eva Prescott, residing at the village of Yarkhill in Herefordshire, concerning a diary found in the suitcase with the hones of a woman.
Mrs. Prescott said: “How the diary came to be in the place where they found it is a mystery. It must have been stolen and used deliberately to involve me by someone with a spite against me.” ;
ENIGMA SOLVED.
MURDER THEORY ABANDONED,
(Received 1.55 p.m.) LONDON, November 13
Scotland Yard has solved the bones-in-tlie-suitcaso mystery. The murder theory has been definitely abandoned. The origin has been traced to a woman who deposited the suitcase in the omnibus, and as an outcome her statement it was ascertained how she obtained the bones and her reason for depositing them.
