The deatli is announced from Dunedin today of Mr A, H. Tomkinson, so Heitor, of the firm of Messrs Tomkinson and Wood, aged (51 years. Deceased was a well-known yachtsman. The Minister of Health, the Hon. A. J, Stallworthy, announces that Dr. Russell, who has been acting temporary port health officer at Auckland since the resignation of Dr. Harke, has been permanently appointed to that position.
