TWO ACQUITTALS,

TIMAEU, October 23

In the Supreme Court, Joseph Melville, of Temuka, was found not guilty on a charge of supplying an instrument for an unlawful purpose. Af the July the jury disagreed and a new trial was ordered.

A verdict of not guilty was returned in the case in which Richard Woods was charged with having indecently

assaulted a girl aged 15 years.
