(Australian Press Association.) (Received .3.8 p.m.) LONDON, October 23. With a view to popularising Arbor Day in England, Lady Cockburn planted an oak tree in a new Kensington Park road, with a tree of remembrance dedicated to airmen killed in the World War.

The ceremonial constituted the first Arbor Day observance ever held in England.
