LABOUR DAY SPORTS,

Arrangements for the Motor Cycle Races on Labour Day are now finalised and everything is in readiness for a. tip top day’s outing. Several machines have already arrive. l from south and more are on the way. The committee has arranged to have handicaps, results and other items of interest broadcasted from loud speakers throughout the day. To further promote the pleasure of patrons, a first class programme of music will be rendered by the Whangarei Municipal Junior Silver Band and refreshments will be obtainable on the ground. Tatis and buses will drop passengersr at the outer gate and private cars to be parked on the ground, will drop their passengers at the inner gate. With, large entries of the Dominion’s best riders in each race a day of thrills should be provided which will more Ilian satisfy every visitor to Kensington Park. 336
