BRAUMAN OUT OF HOSPITAL, ARREST EFFECTED. (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) DUNEDIN, This Day.

William Henry Brauman, who was discharged from hospital yesterday afternoon, was arrested on a charge of the murder of his wife, Dorothy Branman at St, Ulair on the night of August 8. He will appear in the Magistrate's Court today.

COURT PROCEEDINGS. ACCUSED IN WEAK CONDITION. REMAND GRANTED. (Per Press Association,—Copyright.) DUNEDIN, This Day. Charged with the murder of Annabels Dorothy Deans Brauman, on August 8, William Henry Brauman, who was dischargecl from hospital yesterday afternoon appeared in the Police Court this morning. The public gallery was packed, several women being among the curious crowd. ■Brauman stepped shakily into the dock. He appeared to be still weak from his injuries and grasped the rails to support himself as he walked into the dock. Over his damaged eye.he wore a bandage and shade. Brauman was not represented by counsel, no solicitor haing been engaged yet to watch his interests.

(Chief Detective Cameron asked for a remand for one week. He said that on Wednesday next ho would probably be able to 'arrange for a fixture for the bearing of the charge. The Magistrate, Mr ,T. R. Bartholomew, granted the remand.
