An astonishing case.of forgetfulness was revealed when a coffin containing the mummified body of a man was discovered in a corner of a cellar, A

young Turkish student was killed in a street of Berlin iu June, 1915, His body was embalmed and ordered to be sent home for interment, but the railway at Constantinople was momentarily monopolised by the transport of troops. When facilities were restored the address of the dead man lost, and his relations could not be traced. Finally the coffin was forgotten until spring cleaning revealed it.
